Technical Skills

  • Programming: I have expertise in Python with four years of experience in model development and data analysis. I publish all of my models, analysis, and Jupyter Notebooks under open licences on GitHub. I have intermediate skills in R and SQL. I have peer reviewed several scientific software packages for the Journal of Open Source Software.

  • Geosciences: I am proficient in ArcGIS products, QGIS, GDAL, and Python for spatial analysis, image processing, cartography, WebGIS, and automation. I have extensively handled scientific, vector, and raster data formats (including netCDF, GRIB, topography, and remote sensing data). I am familiar with geospatial data standards.

  • Documentation: I am proficient in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, and Word documents. I can typeset documents in LaTeX. I maintain a personal website, which requires HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills.

  • Operating Systems: I am familiar with Linux and Microsoft Windows, including their native command‐line interfaces and shell scripts, as well as Windows Subsystem for Linux.
